Id like to be able to switch patterns by simply pressing one on the sixteen step buttons. Once my bank group is selected is there a way to do this?

Nope. Pattern change always requires first pressing (or pressing and holding) a bank select button.

Sending program change messages also works but I’m not sure what patten mode (DIRECT JUMP/SEQUENTIAL/DIRECT START) that is used in that case.

I am missing that feature too. Just like on an MPC hit a single pad (here a button) to change patterns. Will post it as a feature request

Thanks for confirming that it does require the 2-button combo. =(

@drsiak I too was hoping it would do this (like in perf mode or something), and am a bit disappointed that it doesn’t. One of my biggest pet peeves with sequencers during a live performance, is dealing with button combos to do a simple pattern change.

I won’t kick it out of bed for eating crackers, though. =P
