It seems I can’t assign an LFO to midi velocity in the midi arp
No velocity in the LFO destination menu
Im I dumb?
Any clue?
thx
if synthesis is your thing, I’d probably start out by using one of the (white) noise generators, resample them and from there on, apply envelopes, filters, modulate pitch or anything else, apply FX at will. during that process, keep resampling over and over again for an endless supply of arbitrary sounds ![]()
Sounds great!!
How are you finding the stem playing? Could you use sub tracks to trigger these, or…?
Just thinking one “part” could stay on one track but 8 different versions of it etc etc
That’s pretty much what I do ![]()
Also not been able to make this happen so far but haven’t tried that hard. Someone said to me previously that they use a channel (16 in his case) rather than Auto channel and it appeared to work.
I ran a bunch of SFM multisample packs through this and not all of them load in Tonverk properly but most do: https://multisample-architect.netlify.app
I haven’t taken the time to go investigate what the root cause is on the ones that don’t load but I do need to list them out so I can at least delete them from TV and not have nonworking patch options wasting menu space but the vast majority just worked. I loved loading in the polivoks samples from the Russian synths from mars pack. Lets me go real spooky.
I did that very thing and it worked ![]()
What note interval are you using with the SFM stuff? I did every two semi-tones, but that seems like overkill. I’m sure there must be a sweet spot between fidelity and file size
I just drop the whole thing. SD cards are big and I’m not using a bunch of multisample instruments per project usually.
Any help in Autosampling VST from Ableton Live to Tonwerk? everything seems to be in order and the tonwerk is receiving any other sound coming from the PC ( considering it does not have a Mic (???) but the Monitoring from Live stay put…
Btw. Is it only me or is everyone’s Toneverk taking a minute or two to fetch patches for multi and subtracks from the SD card? Fresh project, nothing loaded, I change the machine to multi or sub tracks and there’s no patches there. If I wait a minute they appear. When they do, the preview produces a buzzing sound ovelayed on the preview (like there’s no cpu power to properly preview). This all normalizes after a few minutes.
I’m running the TV from a SanDisk ultra 256gb card. Speed should not be an issue.
Chances are it’s because of the card but maybe I’m missing something.
Yeah I noticed a similar thing when experimenting with making my own multi samples. If you try to load them right after having come back from USB mode, they don’t show up. Luckily it seems to load the user multi first, then the factory ones.
I’m considering deleting all the factory content for this reason
Phew. I was afraid this is isolated to my unit. I guess I’ll just wait for a fix from Elektron.
Opening this up for discussion…I’ve got my TV clocking my DN2. Best I can tell the sync is pretty dang tight, so that’s the good news. But pattern changes are pretty wonky. Sometimes they stay in time and sometimes they don’t. For live stuff I can deal with it and just keep everything on one ‘pattern’ with the DN2 and just mute/unmute stuff as needed. For writing it’s trickier when I really need patterns to change at the same time. I suppose I could put them both into song mode to get patterns to change at the same time that way…?
my TV triggers my DT2 patterns one pattern too late. Elektron have said they’re going to fix this
I’ve got a question! Is it possible in any way to p-lock pan on a specific note? i’m able to get independent pan per voice on the single and multiplayer engines if i use an lfo set to hold using the random lfo, but if i try to plock pan on the sequencer the next pan plock takes over and controls all the voices actively ringing out. i just checked and it seems the digitone 2 does not display this behavior
Good morning;
TV 1.1 here; still midi clock unstable: latency and variable speed; any other users? Thanks Diego
Did you turn the monitoring in live in “on” or is it in “off” or “auto”?
Also, did you select the correct midi channel in the tonverk? And is the tonverk recognized as a midi controller in your ableton settings?
I had a weird bug with ableton because of a macbook setting which was “isolate audio voice” that I had to turn off
hello , just got the tonverk yesterday , any way to unload samples from ram ?
I was checking the manual and I did not find anything that pointed out to an answer to that question, I would like to know too.
