Obvious choice to release a beefier DN2, it’s what the people want!
Probably a machine based synth tool. Hopefully power and connection via usbc so u can seamlessly be on the go with a laptop sans the power brick.
Guessing a nice VST for audio software to go with it.
I’d buy that.

on the mini keyboard: 8x drum/ptn bank labelling
and on the bottom sequencer row
8x audio/midi
4x bus/midi
3x send fx
1x master
probably some good hints
this is pretty cool, vibes well with the 12 tracks on the rytm and 12 on the syntakt
motion layer + seq layer is pretty cool. Feels like a logical progression from ctrl all machines, but able to be modified as a separate “mask” from the rest of the trig data
so this thing im assuming is using alot of shared architecture from the Digitakt 2

TBH for me a brand new octatrack or analog rytm would cost me an arm and a leg, if they can pull this off being 1000 euroish I might consider it, but I doubt it

don’t think so, the button has the Direct Sampling icon, my guess is Editor = Audio Editor, i.e. working on sample, trimming and stuff

if you take the name literally where before it was translated as musical score, the box is definitely intended to be the ring of power meant to rule them all and in the darkness bind them.
one would imagine both significant USB and physical control over parameters of other devices in addition to it’s own engines.
memory card alone is hot hot heat.

actually this part is the biggest disappointment for me. I wish they did 6 or 8 outs but probably no room inside
no barrel port for power as well, usb C is ehhh not as robust as i would like as a power connector
very happy to see them ditch that mk2 wedge form factor though, i’m glad they also agree with me that it sucks

the back is fully plastered, no space for sure, but either way, having 2 extra outs for live scenario priceless, in studio you can still use OB probably
