live sampling and mangling would be a huge miss.
and unless it doesn’t have it… not sure what’s so new and cool about it that would be interesting for such a high price?
I have a soft spot for sampling, amd all that, but still…

If there are no synths I don‘t get it. Shure the keys hint to poly sampling but other than that the force is strong in the Octatrack.

I’m the damn target market for this one. Have been looking for a modern polyphonic sampler for ages; and this will have good fx and the much-improved modern Elektron sequencer. But moneeey…

Looks all interesting and so on, but I guess I grew up (or that’s the new unemployment part of me), but I believe I don’t need that, at least as long as I will not have produced finished tracks with my current machines.
I have already a DT/DN I need to sell, a OT mkII, DT II, DN II and Wavestate (Multisample here you go) that I need to use.
Let’s see what my thoughts will be in some months after finding another job 
Looks great though, and sorry to the Elektron team for yet another leaked device (even though that was on to be expected)
the more I read the specs of this new product the more I want to get an Octatrack 
from here to eternity…

The extra outs have got me hoping I can use them as aux sends for fx pedals. That would absolutely sell it for me. I’ve read about folks trying that with the OT and that it’s possible but less than optimum
A lot of us were. Just hard to read and pay attention in the thousand replies of spam.

My questions:
8 multi timbral mono subtracks x 8 audio tracks, each one with it’s one sample and sequence means 64 mono tracks possible? each stereo track has 4 voices polyphony? (4 stereo voices = 8 mono voices)
honestly i am just glad its not a DT 2 and DN 2 smashed together in one box,
although that does sound convenient, nothing about that seems innovative or sparks inspiration or creativity

Regarding the two analog inputs – I wonder if one of the USBs might support connecting a class compliant audio interface for more ins? 
and/or Overbridge?!
