Have you tried connecting the second Output Pair back to the Input Pair and hooking up Midi Out to Midi In - after deactivating all Midi Sync Options to not freeze the TV and then set the Track to a Midi Channel not corresponding to the Auto Channel? Oh and ofc, send the Track out of the second Output Pair?
It should allow you to capture your stuff from the Tonverk on the Tonverk. Havent tried this on my own just yet, but will give this a try pretty soon.
The PATTERN menu absolutely needs a SAVE PATTERN entry
I will be emailing this one via the official channels. Its an absolute non-negotiable for me. I even consider sending my TV back if this never arrives to the instrument
Interesting how important this is to you, curious why? Iâve always just saved project on all past Elektrons as it does the same thing and is faster with the panel shortcut.
Iâm very chaotic when it comes to working on my projects. At any given time, changecs are that some of the pattns in a project are in a messed up state, and if I dont go through them one by one to make sure theyâre all as theyâre meant to be before saving my project, I will end up accidentally ruining stuffâŚ
In another thread, we were discussing it would be handy to have a âRELOAD ALL PATTNS BEFORE SAVING PROJECT (Y/N)?â dialog in the project save menu, this would make my life so much easier tbh
In the following video by Mario Hernandez and EZBOT on the Tonverk, Mario attempts to âcontrolâ the stutter effect by pâlocking its freeze value on its max value. Just like everyone intuitively would, he assumes this would guarantee to trigger the freeze effect but only then finds out that this is not the case.
Also, he is then surprised by having to pâlock the effectâs freeze value back to zero on a subsequent trig.
This very much feels to me like a really oddly designed effect. Iâd expect it to behave differently in that
a) thereâd be a max freeze value that guarantees the fx to trigger
b) thereâd be a length parameter instead, so you wouldnât have to dedicate/waste a trig just to pâlock the fx off at a later point in time.
P-locking samples on subtracks would be a massive upgrade for me. Iâm assuming itâs difficult to do as it isnât already there and itâs combining polyphony with quick sample access, but if it could be possible to get a some sort of compromised smaller buffer of say 24-32 samples to swap from that would be class.
The EQ filter from the âmodel IIâsâ filter architecture. Not an EQ effect but this filter as it is applied per voice. If there were a way to have this as an additional filter page without losing the multimode that would be sick. On its own page and being able to control 2 frequency bands like the EQ effect on the OT would be insanely useful. Polyphonic sample playback especially with the single machine/ no time stretch gets muddy so easily.
Dry/ Wet & filter (1 knob LPF/ HPF) control on SRR & bitcrush on Degrader. The Heat+FX spoiled me with the control you get of these 2 effects, but it is quite hard to get anything pleasant out of them. Doubt this will happen as the page is already full.
If slicing ever gets added, a âplay nextâ or âplay thruâ option like on the 1010Music samplers would be amazing. Essentially allows you to play slices sequentially with each trig from a sequencer or external controller.
With slicing and timestretch, one thought I had was what else would they add in here machine wise when it comes to sampling? Sub, single and multi cover all kinds of possibilities but other than that are there any other sample modes from either Elektron or other samplers that could make it on here, assuming there will be some chunky development in Tonverk updates to come.
