The ability to record a sample directly into a subtrack would be great

Donāt you just play the keyboard to audition them?
Just had the chance to use a DN2 for the first time, and I really want the DN2 keyboard setup page, particularly the root/center/spread options.
I would imagine it has been mentioned before, but one thing I would love to see is an interface for Tracks and Busses that is similar to the Analog Heat + FX where you can address a dry/wet parameter for all of your effects.
While there is so much that I love about the Tonverk, I feel the FX are in serious need of a dry/wet mix for all Fx regardless if they are on a Track, Bus, Send or Mix. There is just too much of a frequency/dynamic impact of Track FX being all or nothing. I absolutely acknowledge that there are times we want exactly that, but how many times Iāve wanted a 40/60 mix on the Degrader or 30/70 on the Dirtshaper. Donāt even get me started on the insane volume spikes of the Filter Folder.
Pretty please give us some way to control the dry/wet mix of all our FXs ![]()
EDIT; And yes all my Send FX are busy doing what Sends should do ![]()
I dreamed of an OTT fx in here ![]()
Thatās not auto-preview. The whole point of auto-preview is that you donāt have to play the keyboard or use FUNC + YES to audition a sample, you just scroll through samples list with UP or DOWN.
A few things that come to mind that would be a lot of fun. An accumulator, and modal synth engine.
A multiband compressor, a proper eq, some kind of stereo widener tool, and moar distortion and saturation models. Basically any stuff that helps polish mixes would be nice
A plug-in sdk as theyāre trendy atm
Inc midi processors and obv fx , machine , arp and chord options ⦠get those sinevibes plugins into Tonverk ( yes I know itās not remotely as easy as typing in some text on a forum )
Ability to randomise sample locks on the one shot/subtracks machines, similar to the Digitakt slice mode where you can āCreate random locksā from slices, but instead create random locks from either the sample pool or select one of the banks (A-H).
Also would be cool to see sample locking available on the subtracks, as itās currently only available on the one shot machine.
That tune is mad ![]()
Hey everyone!
Iāve been diving deep into the Tonverk recently and absolutely loving it for live jams. However, as a Digitakt user, I really miss a few specific workflow features that I think would make the Tonverk even more powerful. I hope the Elektron team might consider adding these in a future OS update:
1 Copying a pattern on the fly without switching to it.
On the Digitakt, it was possible to copy the currently playing pattern and paste it to a new slot without the sequencer immediately jumping to that newly created pattern. We really need this back! It is absolutely crucial for live performances and building tracks seamlessly without breaking the flow.
2 Track Swap.
Just like we have on the Digitakt. Itās such a simple but essential utility feature for organizing sounds and managing your tracks quickly during a session.
3 Slice Machine.
Tonverk is a beast, but it really needs a proper Slice machine! It would open up so many creative possibilities for chopping and manipulating samples directly on the device.
Would love to hear if anyone else is missing these features. Fingers crossed for the next updates!![]()

From 16 hz to 27 khz ?
100 percent. Modulation lanes are one of the most powerful sound design tools. So much more useful than a lfo.
Iām from a long line of moths and I can still hear upto 12KHz
Instead of forcing me to burn an FX slot on a different filter, give me the option like on DN2 to swap out the main filter type.
Thatās not even a main issue. A filter in FX page is shared across all voices of the track, so it canāt be properly key tracked, and it also doesnāt have a per-voice envelope.
Comb filter as filter please !
