Would be great to have a dynamics FX machine.
The machine could include effects that work with the level of the signal in different ways, like:
- gate
- trance gate where the user can choose a pattern and speed. Could be used on sustained sounds to introduce rhythmic stutter like effects or even on the master track. Kiloheartz Trance Gate is a good example
- one knob OTT-like effect. Could be used to bring up some high frequency details from any source material, especially on drums/textures. OTT is one of my favourite type of effects in the software world, I miss it on Elektrons
- tremolo
- simple one knob transient shaper
