Tonverk DX7 multisample generator

Sorry for the dumb question, but how do I get the .elmulti files to show up on the TV?

The ā€œ[image]ā€ in this post might be helpful.

on the Tonverk storage put the unzipped multisample directory in ā€œUser/Multi-sampled Instrumentsā€

Okay, thanks guys! I guess having subdirectories was my mistake

The Multisampler folder does work with subfolders — I’m not sure how many levels deep it supports,. What definitely doesn’t work, though, are subfolders in the presets directory.

Would be nice to be able to change the sample note which would help when selecting the start and end notes as some patches only sound good within a specific range. Possibly even just being able to sample the start and end note.

I like the sound of that. I just added a keyboard that shows your highlighted note range, and you can click keys to preview different pitches. Additionally, I moved the ā€œPreview Noteā€ button to be next to each of the min and max fields, so you can audition those extreme selected pitches as well.

Move over, ableton! :stuck_out_tongue:

Really useful additions (which I really wanted, but I didn’t dare to ask for).

Thanks again :+1:

Makes we wonder what other kind of synth engines could be similarly used

Haha, I’ve already thought about the same thing.

There is, for example, an MT-32 emulation available as open source. Not that we necessarily need these sounds, but it would be fun to do a feasibility study

Very cool thank you! In about 5 minutes I had 9 extrawelt multisamples generated and copied from iOS into the Tonverk
