The mod page behavior is inconsistent
I have a sub track with different hits
I have a sample plocked to loop from 0.00 to 4.00 fwd
The mod page is speed 8
Bpm 2
Sample start to mod
Ramp up as wave
Trig mode half
Depth 96
The trigs do not produce consistent results like they did on my old digitakt. The behavior doesnt seem intended
I’m using the old timestretch trick
If thats helpful
The problem is that the trigs aren’t triggering like they’re supposed to be as they are plocked. I trig it a few times but its not responding correctly as i preview it with the yes function, or as i play the pattern.
Do you think the trigs are overlapping somehow?
This one definitely feels like a bug to me. The behaviour of that one control in the Low-Pass Filter FX is unlike any other speed-related parameter I can remember anywhere else on the Tonverk (or other Elektron boxes I’ve owned) where holding FUNC + knob will always snap to a rounded note division value.
The fact that it jumps straight back to 1/4 and won’t budge at all if you hold the FUNC key isn’t useful at all and makes dialling in a timed LFO that much harder.
Tonverk has midi clock receive and midi transport receive disabled.
When connected to my computer USB, in my DAW I press play and Tonverk stops and restarts at the beginning of the song, when clock+transport receive are disabled it should really not do this. Is there any way to disable this behaviour other than disconnecting USB and using analog IO?
Track one Wavefinder instrument, simple saw wavetable (any instrument will do but this is easy to test and hear)
Place note on step 1
Copy pattern A01 to A02
Enter song mode
Row 1 is A01 (4 steps, the note is by default 4 steps so it should end exactly as the pattern changes, but any note length such that the note continues until or past then end of the pattern)
Row 2 is A02 (track 1 muted)
Expected behaviour
when moving from song row 1 to song row 2 the sound from track 1 should stop playing (enter release as it would when muted manually).
Actual behaviour
the note does not stop, but continues playing indefinitely.
This does not happen if you change mutes in the same pattern, only when changing patterns.
Hello, since yesterday, some of the knobs are sometimes changing the value without even touching them. Anyone has the same issue and know how to fix it?
Thanks
Noticed it just today as well.
Was thinking maybe it has something to do with the brutally hot temperature in my studio, kinda felt like the knobs had less resistance than usual.
Yeah, maybe not.
I read somewhere you’re supposed to “train” the encoders by twisting them rapidly all the way. I did that and the jumping values have stopped for now.
On the “to do” long list, pretty sure it won’t be top priority. Snapping values should be done for ALL parameters of ALL Elektrons. Long wait. I think they are really important for UI efficiency, live purpose, but they are not bugs.
Concerning parameters values I thing Tune plocking is a priority: you can’t see values, except with Multi Player.
Sorry if this was addressed earlier, but searching through the forum and couldn’t find anything. Just updated the tonverk to 1.33 and now I noticed I can’t p lock any FX parameters on the bus tracks? Is there a new workflow, or is something up with my tonverk?
it should be fine, have you checked ‘sequence lane’ ?.
just to add.
is the track muted
tried a new project ?
saved and reloaded existing project
tried a trigless trig
the usual default things i do if things go weird.
i just tried it here… no problems . i think its on ‘shape’ mode , not note (i think thats what it is anyway) . track 9
also TRIG mode is ‘note’ not velocity… no idea if that matters.
I’m having a similar issue. I can’t P-lock the fx on a specific track. Tried the sequence lane options, disabling and enabling the fx … nothing seems to work.
