hello, send a bug report on elektron website, the forum is not a place to report bugs , only discuss , you can copy a link to the video not the video itself
Will do when Iām at home! Thanks.
Okay, understood!
Hi Mr.Hart, thx for your answer.
Yes, with the DT2 and it was clean.
Is your envelope release to max?
Hello folks,
Iām on OS 1.3.3, and I frequently get ācould not load presetā messages when loading single sample presets I made earlier. Whatās weird is that 1 - pressing āokā dismisses the message and the preset seems to sound exactly as I saved it, but also 2 - apparently the TV still considers the last āvalidā preset as the current one, so if I try to save, it overwrites the previous preset I had loaded.
I have no idea what makes the preset ācorruptā, it seems to be happening semi randomly (like, some presets will load correctly 25% of the time, some others 50% of the time, some almost 100%)
I searched for this message in the forum, but didnāt find anything relevant to this case. Anyone experiencing the same thing?
So Iāve finally had some time with the Tonverk. The settings are: tune -20, density 78, size 97, sample slot 018 (some long tonal fx thing) position 116, scan 2, spread 113, pan 120, grain amount 8, direction F60%, window fade 120, shape 94, play mode sync, filter notch type with plocks on frequency, resonance is 0 (biggest notch possible), amp: attack 0, decay 64, sustain 127, release 20, overdrive and pan 0. volume 114. no fx loaded, routing goes through mix ab, no modulation.
So according to this, there should not be a reason for the sound to play a āhangingā note after itās muted. And it doesnāt happen on the same step either necessarily. It can happen after muting, but also after pressing āstopā on the sequencer a note can hang. The only clue Iām getting here, is that the sound thatās hanging has a certain āechoā like quality, and it seems to sync with the visuals of the dancing grains on src page. Also if I then proceed to turn the density from 78 to 0, the sound will stop, but if I turn it up again to 78, the sound will come back (regardless of whether the sound is muted / the sequencer is still playing). I find this very odd and very unpredictable in a live situation where youāre never sure if your sound will actually be silent after muting.
Hi! No, it isnāt. I just replied to Sezare with more details.
It sounds exactly the same like a max release envelope of the amp page, except it isnāt.
I tried to save the preset, and then load that in another pattern and copy the sequence of the old pattern to the new pattern, but the behaviour is exactly the same, there also hanging notes triggering there.
Thanks. I tried to reproduce it with a long sample and similar settings āwithout luckā.
If the note is hanging, editing the sustain from 127 down to 0 actually silences the note (and it doesnāt sound again when i put sustain back to 127) this has led me to believe that somehow the midi ānote offā internally is not registering. Is that plausible, and a known thing happening to others? Already reported to support.
Iāve had this a couple of times but couldnāt seem to replicate it easily, normally programmed tracks get a stuck note on mute, itās been so infrequent I canāt remember much details though I think they were multiplayer machines
cool, good to know. Letās see what support says. However, this combined with the 12 milliseconds midi delay when synced externally, I donāt really see how I can safely use this in my liveshow anymore. Iāve got an important one coming up in the beginning of September and Iām thinking of just returning this now that I still can (30 day money back timeframe) and just going for the DT2, since Iām so familiar with my OG DT. Iām still considering the Tonverk for the future, but the bugs are more problematic than I anticipated.
I hope support can help you easily! I read this thread pretty regularly and there has been very little mention of stuck notes
Iām getting a constant (and very fast) retrig manually playing track 1 even though the arpeggiator is disabled. It happens regardless of the instrument I switch to. Is this a known bug, or am I missing something?
Is retrig on by accident?
Damn, it was on the first page of the trigs menu⦠I was afraid I was missing something indeed! Thanks ![]()
Could you record it ?
Are you sure this sound is from selected sample ?
I remember a bug at Grainerās release with a particular sound.

Iāve just uploaded this video, donāt mind the bad audio quality
Does it happen in mono mode ? (Trig Setup)
