I know how to do it, but it just feels slow-going. Can someone suggest a really fast way to get the best use of this awesome feature?
be in rec play mode - red light blinking - randomly play bass sounds on 1 page . then start turning the knobs, one at a time, after 20 seconds or so you should feel the desired effect 
The most slowest thing is selecting sounds from sound pool for locking. But after you did it for one trig you can use copy/paste functionality. Another thing is to save sounds from +Drive to project sound pool. But in general p/sound locking is very simple thing. What difficulties do you have with it?
