Not quite the same, but anyone know if it’s possible to “merge” patterns? Say I want to put pattern 1 and pattern 2 (which are different, but the bpm is the same) onto pattern 3 - is this feasible?
AFAIK, it isn’t in a direct way. It’s possible to copy Page 1-4 of pattern 1 and paste it into Page 1-4 of pattern 3. And then put page 1-4 of pattern 2 into page 5-8 of pattern 3. But you have to do it one page at a time and one track at a time. So if you have all 16 tracks with something on it, then you would need to do the copy and paste process 64 times. There might be some kind of Digitone project manager software that somebody is writing that allows you to copy and paste pages more easily.
Ok, cool. Thanks for the advice! ![]()
Edit: I’ve figured out what I needed to do - it was as simple as copying the preset I wanted, and pasting it into my new pattern. However, something odd is happening: when I play back that pattern, and simultaneously play the new preset, the existing sounds on that pattern kinda “duck”…the levels drop, so they sound like they’re in the background.
What’s going on there?!
