Thanks for the quick answer. It’s definitely a high contender for my next midi controller I think.
Thank you very much for your response. Just wanted to write a follow-up to my initial message since I bought the Timepod (used, in Germany) after you gave some clarifications on my questions.
What a wonderful piece of gear, I enjoy using it very much! To give some context: I was using a Midi Fighter Twister beforehand and always disliked the way it handles pages (via side buttons, hard to reach). The Timepod does this much better with its top panel buttons. The high-resolution endless potentiometers are superb and I must say that the feel is indeed very close to using knobs without sacrificing precision (at least in 14-bit mode). This is especially useful for me when working with software such as Ableton, though in my case I’m actually using it mostly inside TouchDesigner.
One wish that I would have is to let users freely program the behaviour of the capacitive touch on each poti. Currently it only selects/de-selects specific potis to be affected by morphing - which is a great default use of it - however, since the controller somehow lacks the push functionality of clickable encoders, it would be nice to map this to something else by just outputting note or CC data instead. For example: turning a specific function/parameter off and on.
Hey cubix is there any chance to add chain mode in the future? And could you explain me how we can access to other 8 banks? By shift?
Hi, I have a huge backlog of feature requests but I can look into it.
You can change banks by holding the Config button.
Thank you for your quick answer.
One more thing; last time you said morphing time could be max 16sec.(maybe new features came)Does it reset to zero after we do it or stays on the last morphing config?
There’s an indicator on the Morph button that shows whether Morph Mode is enabled or not. When it is enabled, morph is always on the duration you configured. When it’s disabled, it’s instant recall.
I’m working on a detailed tutorial video of both Timepod and the desktop app. I’ve just been juggling a ton of stuff due to the launch so I’ve been putting off these media tasks ![]()
Despite our absence on social media and the marketing side of things, we have lots of exciting things in the works. Continued active development is the plan as Timepod is a core gear in my production workflow now.
