RHPS, Clue, Legend, Annieā¦ the man shaped my childhood. King Chicken on Duckman is still one of my favorites. And Auntie Whispers in Over the Garden Wall? Tim Curry made being evil look so fun.
But his rendition of Losing my Mind by Sondheim is what strikes me the most. I heard this for the first time shortly after moving to NYC, before I had any kind of stability and when I was feeling really alone. The same big voice, and wild delivery that made me smile and laugh so many times, but weaponized to bring me straight to tears.
Heāll be missed.

I think about him pretty much every morning. Iām convinced a clown lives in my shower drain. Last week I told my wife about it. āOh, you donāt know about the clown?ā She hasnāt spoken to me since. Apparently she saw āItā too young.

I couldnāt find a picture with Tim sadly but I used to always play a specific drinking game while watching Clue, one of my favorite movies from childhood well into adulthood and my introduction to Timās awesomeness.
Basically everyone draws a mustache and sticks it on the screen. When yours lines up, you drink.
What a crap photo, I didnāt even get a still with the mustache on anyone. I must have been having a damn good time by then.
