Thru Start Silent piercing noise

Oh yess PIngPOng !!
never encountered it (I have not really used the PIPO)…but do you know how can i replicate the PIPO stucking?
Thx
-gg-

it happens pretty frequently. just set looping to PIPO and trig your sample. should hear it within a minute or so.

I didn’t realise there was a ping pong mode.
Still no reply on my support ticket. First time I’ve dealt with elektron support, pretty slow aye. Dave smith sent me 4 emails in that interim and then keeps sending me check up emails to check I am doing ok lol. I think the support lady likes me :wink:

New OT user here. Having the same exact issue. Filled a ticket as well. Did you get any answer ?

Still waiting for a fix. It is a known bug and HQ will say they are aware of it.

Hoping for this and others to be fixed!

Aware since at least november… is this normal at Elektron to take several months to fix minor issues ?

They use an algorithm to do things:

if (machineType == “Analog*”) {
developer = mostExperienced;
priority = highest;
do {
fix_code();
test();
} while (!done);
analogBugs–;
} else if (machineType == “machine”) {
developer = junior;
priority = normal;
if (timeAvailable != 0) {
attemptFix();
if (analogBugs == 0)
test();
}
} else if (machineType == “Octatrack”)
exit();

:joy:

And no reply to a ticket after 4 days… do they also have an algo for this ? :astonished:

I got some HQ answers the day after, then I replied and then I waited them for at least 2 weeks, sometimes.

I got a response a year ago about this.

Hi,

We have confirmed this fault and hope to fix it soon. In the meantime I recommend you using a TRIG at the beginning of the sequence with a Plock of -64 on VOL.

Hope this helps,

Elektron

Since then nothing. I have to admit though, it hasn’t been an issue in my own use of the OT.
