“Da Da Da” became a hit in Germany and about 30 other countries, selling 13 million copies worldwide, it was made with just a CASIO Toy…it’s not what you’ve got…
Question for the developer.
There is some confusion, in the docs, about the meaning of a “quarter” note. On one page, I think you said that, by default, there were 16 quarter notes in a bar. In traditional musical parlance, we would more likely say there are 16 sixteenth notes in a 4/4 bar. And a 16/4 time signature would be unusual.
Are you using the term quarter to indicate 1/4 of a beat (rather than 1/4 of a 4/4 measure)?
Does anyone already know what would be the final price tax+duty from USA to EU?
Usually you add the VAT of your country to the price + shipping total
In France that would be around 320 euros, based on my experience with the M8 (270$ shipped + 20% tax + 20€ for importation fees)
This looks very interesting. Ordered. Maximum respect for the in depth user guides and manual I must say!! @Woovebox
i feel like a harsh statement can be helpful aswell, because if you sugarcoat everything, people might not care about your opinion
It’s okay to be harsh, but one needs to be detailed in a critique in this case, and that’s a bit difficult with a device no one has seen or used yet. Personally, I didn’t get along with my PO-33, and I doubt I will do better with this for many of the same reasons, but for me that didn’t pass the threshold of comment.
Constructive criticism can be great. That’s not what that was, it was just rude and from someone who has never touched or used the product.
I believe there are not too many individuals who touched the product to claim it is good. One video and attached spec seems to suffice to please quite a few here though…
Let’s not beat around the bush. That wasn’t constructive criticism, that was someone having a bad day.
I think it is fair to say different horses for different courses. In using a synth related device some want screens with lots of details at a glance. Even 7-Seg Deluge had to give in to demand for an OLED screen. Just like some can work with ambiguity some prefer things being systematic.
I bought one. Let you know how the UI/UX turns out. I have the 7-Seg Deluge and Pocket Operator. Here we have to avoid criticism for the sake of criticism because whatever product is being put out, a part of the community will just point out whatever was missing., that it needed just one more feature to be the perfect device or if it is pretty good already then they attack the price and value propositions or it ain’t grooving to my workflow, etc. You just can’t win.
For Woovebox form factor and asking price, please be reasonable in expectations. Just because you can be an armchair critique doesn’t mean you should. If you wanna give comments on a product not out there that hasnt reached hands of users, keep it positive?
I love the fact it has a segment display, I can leave my reading glasses at home. That’s the reason, I don’t take my m8 tracker with me when on the move and still carry around my po 33.
The first batch of assembled and tested Wooves have been shipped! (it’s been a crazy, crazy weekend…)
If your invoice ends in 132 or below, check your email for your tracking number (It will have been sent from Australia Post - not from Woovebox directly). If you did not receive a tracking number, please contact me through email. Thank you!
EDIT: I dumped a mail bag full of parcels at our tiny little local PO (gave them a heads up of course), so it may take them a little while to scan (it’s after hours no here in Oz), so hopefully you should get a tracking number in the next 24h. If not let me know!
I clearly stuffed up here.
Thanks so much for pointing this out!
Hey, I was trying to put in an order but the site says “out of stock” when I proceed, is there any estimates on when you can order it again or maybe make a pre-order?
Oh wow, you’re right!
We had four cancellations, so I updated stock levels just now.
Fantastic!
Just ordered!
Woop woop, I got my tracking number email.
And now we wait.
Congrats on your launch!
What’s this obsession with bringing gear on the market that doesn’t have proper casing?
I found it one of the laziest things in product development as it doesn’t serve any good for the user. I feel it’s nothing more than a marketing trick which has actually the opposite effect on me.
