Surprised at how much better the A4 sounds in the 1.1 update. Sounds the same, yet sounds like a new machine. As Alex mentioned in the other thread, ‘more open and alive’ is one way to describe it.
Well, I couldn’t be happier.
I knew it was handicapped all this time. It really is a new machine.
Sounds ballsier and more powerful. 1.06 will sound timid in comparison. The Oscs sound better through an open filter (with more pressure) & using the filter sounds better even without the new reso boost.
A New Maschine !!! That was my first thought too, when i start to play after the Update…good to know other People think the same and its not only in my Brain (-;
I think so too, but the difference is subtle.
Dunno if it sounds very different when making mono patches, think it’s more due to the brilliantly programmed presets and the wonderful poly mode.
I always found the A4 sounding really good with the right tweaks.

Yeah… Its really good programming. But the bottom end is a lot ballsier.
My first text to my buddy with another a4 was “I’m not sure how but I think it SOUNDS better.”
At first I was convinced it was mental, but after a while I really get the sense that they secretly changed something that altered the sound. As if they had coded something wrong before and were like “oh shit. We totally missed this before. Let’s change it and pretend it’s the same.”
It’s almost as if we have more “finely tuned circuitry” or something.
