It basically has everything I felt the predecessors lacked. Mixing environment, everything can be done on the hardware, this one has 3 MIDI out ports (so I’m guessing 16 x 3 MIDI channels out), two big bright lit colored screens.
Anyone else thinking what I’m thinking? Damn, this thing could be amazing. As soon as I figure out whether or not it will MIDI-sequence my external gear well, I’m sold on this thing (and guessing saying adios to my Cirklon). It looks pretty damn amazing on paper, anyway.
Oh yes!!!
I said i was going to work exclusively with my 2 OT’s but this has grabbed my attention for sure. I haven’t been interested in Reason, Ableton/Push or MPC Ren, but this has got me thinking.
Does look like an extremely interesting bit of kit. I have been using Maschine since it came out and love it. Mostly because its an extremely versatile bit of sound fodder for the OT.
I personally think this Maschine Studio is well overpriced though.
Yeah, it’s pretty expensive. But it does look the biz. Particularly love this bit; MASCHINE STUDIO’s advanced MIDI CC functionality lets you easily assign any instrument or effect parameter to any external control surface or your host’s automation control. Create detailed automation lines in your host and MASCHINE will stay tightly locked to every tweak, pan, and fader ride.
Seamlessly turn MASCHINE STUDIO into the control hub of your entire studio. 1 MIDI In and 3 MIDI Outs let you route control messages from MASCHINE STUDIO to multiple devices for the ultimate command center. Connect a MIDI keyboard for intricate melodic performances. Or route control messages from MASCHINE STUDIO to multiple devices.
