The most beautiful synth

This thread proves how subjective things like beauty are… I personally always loved the ARP Quadra

Even love the back of it, with the big white and red type.

When it comes to Elektron, for me definitely the Machinedrum and Monomachine, absolutely love the aesthetic of those, and the overall design.

For me, it’s the opposite; I can’t look at it without wanting to turn off all those sliders and throw it on the ground.

right? I am lusting after the new Buchla Music Easel as my next synth along with a Prophet 10 and Arp 2600 FS.

I love the ARP Quadra. Pity about how badly it was made.

The thing is you have to wear jump suits and cowboy boots for that bad boy.

Besides the Minimoog and the Vermona ‘14 already mentioned, besides the Voyager which I prefer in its "Old School’ version, and despite I don’t like blue LEDs at all, I must say I find the white Little Phatty very, very appealing.

Mine is black with the grey sides and I must also say that I like the LP in whatever color. I love Moog’s traditional black and white panel scheme.

By the way, did you know about these versions?

… and this one is a customized one:

I think the most obvious answer(s) for the most beautiful synths are as follows:

  1. The synth that doesn’t exist yet
  2. The synth you can’t afford
  3. The synth en route to your home
  4. Selling all your gear and focusing on making music with your computer
  5. The synths you already own

I was looking at vocoders and until very recently had missed the news of the Microfreak Stellar edition.

I didn’t care much for the original or vocoder edition designs, but put some spacey graphics on it and I’m in!

Now…just imagine how good looking that synth would be if it broke the bank! :grinning:

Wow. That could be a telecom / fax machine but the fact that it’s a synth is beautiful. What did they mean for you to put in the blank space?
