The intoxicated hangout

Yum @NoodleSoup and @HoldMyBeer !

I went out to get a bourbon county stout and came home with new vehicle instead! No shit! True story!

Enjoying the cheapest bourbon on the shelf after that!

Cheers!

Enjoying a double Ketel & tonic while waiting for my delayed flight at the only place to get any drinking done at beautiful Burbank Airport: Guy Fieri’s Kitchen & Bar. Welcome to flavortown, MFers!

So I just found these in the garage while looking for the smoke machine (behind) and strobe;

Which to choose? I do have the honey pepper shot glass to hand…

I just need to see if there’s any Cointreau.

Delicious, but those are the headache juices!

Oh indeed; and the goats need to be fed in the early hours. But it’s also Hallowe’en… so since the Cointreau is apparently long gone, it’ll just be tequila and Curaçao + some gin under the laser light:

And you know what? It works!

Downed a 6.6ABV tall boy on an empty stomach and dragged my daughter out for a speed-run trick-or-treat.

First pitch is at 8 pm! I’m not the hugest baseball fan (I never remember player stats and often forget their names), but I’m a longtime baseball appreciator and tonight’s a big deal.

Edit: This post makes me sound like a deadbeat dad. My wife is with us, and her mom is taking our daughter for the evening once trick or treating is done! Plus it’s cold tonight. She should be inside!

When I was growing up in London, that was what my parents called a large standalone cupboard. So well downed!

Do you have Dead Beat Descendants?

Getting into some Old Fashioned’s again. I’ve probably mentioned this here before, but Dashfire Old Fashioned Bitters are some of my favorite, especially in the fall. They really compliment by adding some nice warm spices.

And it is a tradition on Halloween to do coney dogs and mac and cheese…a very delicious tradition.

Hotel Chocolat booze to enjoy my freer weekend. No photos as my desk’s full and I got too much junk that I really need to clear out.

Made a Beericano tonight:

Pour 1.25 oz. Campari and 1.25 oz. Sweet Vermouth in a glass over ice and give it a stir. Fill most of the rest of the glass with beer, leaving an inch or so at the top. Pour an ounce or two of beer and a pinch of salt in a separate glass/shaker/cup/vessel and froth it up, then pour over the top.

Overall this is a delicious cocktail. I am a fan of the Spaghett, so this was right up the same alley. You could probably skip the foam on top if you don’t have the facilities or care to do that, and it will still be a delicious drink.
