Agreed, it is a great bottle shape.

Full Sail Brewing in Hood River, OR makes this, it’s pretty tasty.

It’s a fairly common bottle shape (maybe a slightly smaller size at 25cl) for cheap own-brand lagers in the UK that are brewed in France, eg:

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen this size and shape bottle in France, certainly not recently though.

Yep! I fucking suck! About to toss all my shit in the garbage and do the only thing I’m good at, drink my face off!

Wasted my time setting this shit up!

No time was wasted, think of the things you learned in the process! Besides, the path is the goal. Now drink, damn you, drink! Then sing your goddamn face off and drink some more!

Ha! All I learned was drinking good, singing bad!

That and the better the preamp the clearer you can hear how bad it actually is!

This was a cocktail I had last night called the Cleveland Picnic.

With @Kegeratorz being a Browns fan, they might appreciate the name.

Was there actual corn in the drink or was it served on the side?
Also was there actual prosciutto pin the drink above?

Went to lunch with friends. Had a fair bit of wine in the sun. Came home, fell hard asleep and woke up at what I thought was around 8 in the morning and then realised it was actually 8pm.

For the corn, they actually did a type of syrup, that was made from BBQ’d corn and spices. The cocktail itself really did taste like an Old Fashioned and a BBQ, it was executed well.

The cocktail above it on the menu was called the Perfect Throw, which I also tried and was also delicious. And the spear did have prosciutto, a piece of cheese, and a basil leaf which they grew outside. Here is a pic I took of that one:

Yup; there’s a lot of it about (much of it being Kronenbourg, which is all right and has been since the 17th century, though at times it’s been brewed in Germany depending on where the border has been at any given moment).

A study commissioned by FranceAgriMer in 2023 revealed that while wine sales dropped by 45% between 2007 and 2023, beer sales rose by 26%. This growth is starkest among younger demographics, with under-35s increasing beer consumption by 47%, compared to an 8% rise among those aged 50-64. The trend has also fostered a surge in craft brewing, with France now boasting the EU’s largest number of independent brewers—2,500, according to the Syndicat National des Brasseries Indépendantes .

Ah, some vodka mixed with Pepsi Max to say goodbye to the penultimate week of August! Barely did anything towards working with music though , but life’s been hectic for me, to say the least.

Hoping everything else will go more smoothly despite work picking up again. Hope I’ll still get meds for one, work arrangements won’t be too bad and that I won’t have too bad of a relationship with money (all I can ask for now is specific gear and art commissions, hopefully I won’t overdo them). I just need savings, damn it!

Part of me may have felt like I should have bought a Model:Cycles instead, but another part of me would miss the more robust USB-B (not microUSB), polyphony, more powerful sequencing and the guitar patch I was able to get with the help of a tutorial that’s aimed for the Digitone II. Right now I don’t feel like I use a lot of the features on my DN2, considering my main priority is to make music than design sounds.
