the old Dave Smith Tempest drum synth was really cool and would love to see Sequential and Oberheim collaborate on a new reissue. Oberheim needs to do a new DX drum synth.

But that is what you can effectivly do - when you use the euklid to trigger the sound. If you map the euklid, its track swap rythm. Not sure if the selected midi note for the track can be remotly controlled though, but then it would be very intresting. (I am pretty sure one can send midi notes -but to select the tracks midi default note, i am not so sure if that is possible.)
It couldn’t have been otherwise. It was just a gift from my friends for my birthday.
I have it nowow. But I’m not me if I don’t make some easy changes)

I have liked the sounds of the drumbrute every time I’ve heard it. I owned one briefly. Sampled it a bunch and then sold it. The size put me off a bit.

Drumbrute (Impact, in my case) is just so, so fun, especially matched up with a Minilogue and a Crave. Then I go back and listen to the recordings. Minilogue, sounding good! Crave, sounding REALLY good! Drumbrute, oh good grief. Nice kick, anyway.
I’ve been chasing that flow-high with my Rytm. Now, this is maybe goofy, but I think my problem is a lack of a dedicated metronome ON OFF and volume sliders on the Rytm.
If they had this UI with Elektron style machines (or even samples) with P-locks it would be just about perfect to me.

I’ve never had a DT. But somehow a long time ago I found a set of replacement buttons and just kept them).
I think a black DT with grey buttons from an E25 would look really shitty)))
