The Behringer Gear-in-progress Thread

The best surprise would be a bundle deal with a Linndrum clone thats expected.

I can’t make it do that. I’m not very good :flushed:

I’d have some of that all week and twice on Sundays!

Behringer has recently released several products and then immediately dropped the price. My thought, this is a tactic to underline how inexpensive their products really are. So an immeduate price drop is possible.

With the P-AT keybed it hits me that the PPG product really needs something like that to set it apart for Behringer. The keybed on the Yamaha DX FM they might be doing might work too.

So on Facebook, they had a Which would you choose, between the VCS3, and the OB-Xa. Perhaps they are saying you don’t have to pick you can have both !?

Thats a good shout. If they release both staggered it could be a reality.

I think this is worthy of its own thread now it’s got its own webpage. I contacted Andertons today but they’ve no knowledge of it yet according to the person I talked to. They just advised I keep checking their site

Definitely. Mods will be OK with it too. Who will take the honors.

Thomann is often early with Behringer stuff. I think they are sometimes willing to pay extra to air-freight the first initial shipment.

I think you should do it! My presentational skills are somewhat lacking…

I’d forgotten there’s already a thread here

So what’s up with the Wasp and a DFAM question ? Behringer already has both. Are they hinting at something else they are working on. Version 2s of both might be nice.

A Wasp with CV or even midi CC would be awesome. I love the sound of the Wasp but it is limited on that front, prob because of its closeness to the original under the hood. But I’m sure they be able to fix up a uC/DAC to scan pots and switches without deviating too much from the core instrument?

It may be just a bit of fun? In preparation for a major launch of new gear.

Could be a desktop module, that would be great.

Actually what if the DMX is the surprise ?

I am dreaming of a real Oberheim DMX to use with my OB X8.

Why am I thinking of a velveteen rabbit ?

quote from the story : β€œReal isn’t how you are made,” said the Skin Horse. β€œIt’s a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.”

Music Tribe will be at NAMM in January. That’s a change of pace. They have not done shows in the past, though they hinted somewhat recently that they were considering it.

I have reworked a list from Amazona . de that they did, listing the status of the Behringer β€œgear in progress”. I rearranged it in the order of the percentages, which indicates how far the Amazona editorial team feel the project has progressed. These percentage are their opinion, and well, you and i can disagree. I edited ( improved ?? ) occasionally with the project origins that are in parens. Within a percentage it is alphabetic.

The original from Amazona was was done November 25, 2023. Reference it if you have any question on my edits :

This does not include the Behringer Eurorack modules, and there is lots of good stuff with those. Also the list itself is not completely complete.
Notice a few near the top of this list have already dropped, in the three weeks since this list was done.

Also in the Amazona article they also called out two products coming soon. The MS-5, they have information on from an unnamed source. And the CS Mini, which really looks like a fun $100.
