Feeding your OT mkII into this (vice versa) might be a good time for some dedicated punch in effects/flex beat/knob fx ![]()
Possibly sold out in UK already? All I see is backorders
I thought it was really good myself. Went a lot deeper than other videos Iāve watched today. Heās learning on the fly here so I guess heās not as succinct as usual.
I still donāt understand if you can play samples polyphonically , anyone tried it?
Yeah, if you slice a sample when you go back into chop mode it will still be there, itās just that you canāt sequence the chops without assigning them to separate pads. Or at least I think you canāt? I usually get around this by playing a few patterns and using skipback to grab them.
But here it seems like you can record your take then go in and edit to get the events to get the feel just right. Even though it doesnāt look like the step editor lets you change slices or much of anything other than nudge and velocity⦠thatās probably all thatās needed. Looks like a fun for sure but wondering is it worth ā¬400 mainly just for that one thing.
Also the missing feature Iāve been wanting on Move since forever - I donāt use Move Everything, bit too vibey for me to trust, plus Iām not really into the idea of loading the Move down with features in general - but either this isnāt something it can deal with, gotta wait on Ableton for that.
Re the plugin - are we sure that theyāre actually going to release it? Itās been a while, not really sure why it would be taking this long? Kinda key to me for getting stuff off it.
@Kultschar gear4music has plenty
āMore on the way, available to orderā
Edit: ah - your link is āfulfilled from Irelandā
Look at it this way fella, awaiting stock means more time to appraise what kind of device it is and if itās for you based on real world usage reports and not influencer hype or flashy marketing and fomoā¦
Seems like most people are having fun tho so thatās a good start, I need new monitors first though so Iām gonna have to wait it outā¦
Finnish local music shop ran out of stock yesterday too. Luckily mine is on itās way. Hopefully itāll arrive tomorrow as I have a day off from work.
I almost never use the sequencer on the 404 so I didnāt even think about that aspect differing from the mpc
Shit, this is too logical. i canāt even ask a question, itās all there
you can, but for some reason its not working in the gate, āNote Onā mode, it feels like this isnt intended behavior tho
just tried supplying the cam kit with power and its still not working. the lightning to 1/8" adapter does work, but then you gotta use a stereo 1/8" jack to dual mono 1/4" and thats not the most portable option, so kinda pointless for me.
Shit. Major downer
andy mac said its a 20 minute recharge but that certainly wasnt the case for me. i dont know much about quickcharge/fastcharge whatever they call it, i imagine i would need a specific USB C wallwart and cable that supports it, right?
Canāt find much about effects levels on single Pad/Instrument ??
I just did the update fine via an iPad thatās about 3 years old , although itās usb c , so may try that if you have one next time. Or iPhone for that matter.
Yea fast charge demands a higher wattage brick, lower range ones start at like 25W but can go way higher. Convenient to have for lots of devices these days.
I have lightening to dual 1/4ā that works as well but agreed, not ideal. No biggie for me as I have a newer iPhone and iPad but was hoping to use my old iPhone which is smaller and cleaned out save for samples and iOS music apps.
However, USB C is definitely the wave as there are so many creative ways to use the two way audio/midi interface.
How you getting on with the Arc, I keep flirting with the idea of getting one because my HP are 250ohm and I was really impressed with the what real phones did with calibration. Be nice to have that on the go for my 990s
