Is there a way on MPC 3.7 to loop a sample from a pad endlessly? I remembered the hack from tubedigga https://youtu.be/W4yfo_IwwZY?is=RKuYsrIJnH6-dLam but I can’t find the transpose field on the drum track anymore. Thx
Don’t think so except by recording a triggering note, which is limiting in its own way. I’ve migrated all my loop-type programs that used to live on Clip tracks to the new clips - just imported the loops onto a few tracks I can then cue up and use a bit like I used to.
I have yet to figure out of it’s possible for a clip to default to toggle rather than trigger.

You can tell it must be legit because the usual MPC heads on YT who release a zillion pointless videos a day have gone all quiet - presumably playing with it under a NDA.

Finally got stoned enough to flesh out/structure this one.
I’ve become incredibly lazy/zen with the Live 3 lately and I’m essentially mixing things using the built in speaker, at quiet enough for not being too loud and disturbing the house late at night levels and I’m pretty OK with that, it feels like it fits my relationship with this machine.

It’s nice, but I’m not particularly interested in this new expansion, but there’s something new in it—they’ve added 100 clips. For my tastes, if they made an expansion with 100 dubstep and dnb clips, I wouldn’t stop playing and dancing for weeks

can’t be sure until it’s really confirmed, it’s the closest thing to a mini that I would like that I’ve seen so far, I hope it’s closer to the sleekness of the EP-133 than the thickness of the mpc 500 but at this point I’m just glad they are still trying… I’m as intrigued as everyone else but right now I just hope it has the same or better quality build than the sp-404m2… if it’s just something akai isn’t taking seriiously that would be unfortunate… I got so tired of waiting for the mini’s that I moved on to the handhelds… got high hopes for the casio too… but if either of them are halfway decent I’m gonna copp

This is just one of the packs that came bundled free with new Live 3 and XL. I see they’ve released the bundled packs for individual sale now. Good for those that don’t have them.
