I also said they using samples can sound great, but that’s not the point. They took the easy road & are IMO overcharging people knowing that some people (not you specially) have a Pokemon “gotta catch’em mentality” & will buy anything new. People can do what they want with their cash & buy it, but it’s also means supporting these low-effort plugins will only give Akai incentive to keep doing it & stop or reduce them making better quality plugins like Jura & Mini-D.
What’s worse is that they did this after making gen2 MPCs. I hope the Spitfire plugs make up for this & they make better Pro versions of these 3 vintage plugs (with their filters) on the level of Jura & Mini-D.
