The 2025 Manifestation Thread

In here if you post it, it will manifest!*

That’s right! That sweet piece of gear that you’ve been gassing over for months? It will manifest into your possession THIS YEAR! That mix you couldn’t get right? That’s right! POOF Sounds dope! That perfect snare sample you’ve been looking for? BAM in your library! (It was there all along)

So what are your manifestations this year?

I WILL GET A SYNTAKT
I WILL GET A MINIFREAK
I WILL SOMEHOW BE ABLE TO AFFORD BUILDING A NEW PC
I WILL FINISH MY EP
I WILL STICK TO MY DRUM PRACTICE REGIMEN

*Disclaimer that manifestations are not promised in the “The 2025 Manifestation Thread™” Any post that do no manifest after the year 2025 are subject to acts of god, such as them being too busy assisting Karen with her nails after she prayed for them to turn to the way she wanted them to."; some 58,432,220 sports fans praying for their favorite team to win; some guy in North Carolina getting $20 of a scratch off; or any other things that might interfere with the universe’s natural order.

No one manifests anything.

I manifested a syntakt!

No, you didnt.

You earned some money, then you spent it on a syntakt. Or you swapped something you already had for a syntakt.

I finished an EP! Thats not manifestation. Thats just finishing something.

I will stick to my drum practice! Thats not manifestation. That’s just self discipline .

“Manifestation” in France involves

  • lots of people that agree with not agreeing
  • sausages
  • some trash fires, at times
  • police brutality, most of the time

I thus have trouble understanding what you mean exactly.

But I’m all for

FINISHING A DECENT EP

The best is when the railway workers set off blasting caps inside steel tubes and scorch the tarmac while making a very loud bang.

Oh, and the mass chanting can be pretty good at a manif too.

sausages? i’m trying to figure out how they could be used in such situation but to no avail, i can think at least of one that would make them the right thing to have: on a barbecue :smile_cat:

You were almost right: what about a barbecue within a truck that is moving at the same pace as the people fighting for their rights?
To saaaaaaausage.

With a ska-punk band on too, giving out beer to protesters as well as I saw at one manif against the pension reforms, maybe ?

It’s like throw it in the Universe and it will happen.

It’s basically a slightly newer version of The Power of Positive Thinking, right? With maybe less specifically Christian stuff attached.

Anyway, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with focusing on your wishes and hopes, so long as wishing and hoping isn’t all you do to try to make them come true.

I don’t believe in any sort of magic, spiritualism, or miracles—but I do believe that it’s a lot harder to make good things happen if you don’t spend some time thinking about what “good” means to you and what you actually want.

I’m guessing if I do the latter, I’ll definitely be working less!

My original goal is a little lofty so I’m thinking of manifesting something a bit more achievable at this point.

Manifesting is like alcohol: a little now and then is good fun, but relying on it will destroy you.

Try not to fall for people who want to manipulate you, and don’t let them tell you that you need to manipulate those around you.

I like the process of intentional-forming: spend time considering what I really want, then commit to making it happen. Take advantage of opportunities that present themselves while also doing the work.
