I’ve spent a lot of money on multiple product and suffered through their schizophrenic forced customer beta program since 2019.

Is this the same version found on their discord or is this the release version?
Thanks. I ask because I reluctantly created a discord account just to get this, like some others here might have as well, skipping opening that site again for a new version would have been ace 
best to clarify than to guess.
I appreciate sharing. But since is beta my hope are folks will work it out before release.
BB is my daily driver since 5 years.
My only wish is that there is an option to cut the USB power/port when in standby.
To clarify:
Beta versions for the Bluebox should only be obtained via the 1010music Discord channel, which was announced to replace their forum over the next few months.
This also means that I won’t/can’t provide shortcut access to any non-official firmware release here or elsewhere.
Maybe they can repurpose the “support” page to host firmware updates?
Rant:
I am on Discord, but also don’t like it for brand/support channels for every reason already mentioned.
It’s also weird that if using the Discord app, clicking a download link, opens an external browser anyways, so why should we need to use Discord to go there for the firmware?
Of all the companies that use Discord, they’re the only ones exclusively publishing firmware links on Discord.
Officially, that’s for public and non-public beta firmware releases. Those are available in Discord-Land only. Personally, I’m fine with this, as long as it leads to a better product.
My assumption is that any official release will make it onto their website in the download section. 1.3 is still in development.
The forum will be history very soon — (Quote from reddit, three days ago: According to Steve, the 1010 forums are being shut down in the next week, so if you have any strong opinions about that and want to share them with 1010 this is your last chance!)
By burying the forum, a good amount of expressed criticism and frustration collected over the years will disappear as well.
And with it also some good tips and tricks.

Lol sidechain cos thats what everyone wants, because it isn’t at all the most played out and annoying audio effect. Yeah we definitely need more of that on everything.
How about something actually useful instead, like basic bar/beat audio editing, like every late 90’s - early 2000’s multitrack could do, basic copy/paste/repeat - hardly an exotic feature on a digital multitrack you’d think, but apparently it is because none of the current offerings (aside from Thingstone) can do it.
Sidechaining is awesome.
Sidechaining on bluebox spares me a stereo channel Input and output pair and tons of cables doing a sc roundtrip through my tr8s. Love it.
Just guessing some of that might come in a BlueBox 2 with a bigger screen.
I’m not sure what they envisioned BlueBox would be, but I expected a very simple mixer with record capabilities, and then have been surprised by the new features.
Nothing against wanting more. I just want it to record as I’m not DAWless, but I do understand wanting to see it do more.

The forums were officially shut down yesterday. they’ll stay up as read-only for a while, but not intedifinitely according to Steve.

Yeah fair, they did market it as a multitrack recorder and mixer, and current products like the Tascam and Zoom offerings in this area do not have bar/beat editing either.
The mid 90’s-early 2000 era Roland, Yamaha, Korg, Tascam, Akai and even Zoom mulittrack recorders all did this with midi sync, tons of fx etc, but unfortunately using those means putting up with mechanical hard drive noise, or modding them for solid state storage by way of SD or CF card adapter.
Obviously the advent of the DAW on a computer impacted the market for these more advanced kind of hardware digital multitrack recorders, a shame really but probably too niche for anything like that today.
