That Syntakt Sound

More banging Syntakt techno. With SY Swarm this time and a solid case for why FM-ing everything all the time is a good idea :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks! It is! I like how the Syntakt’s answer to ‘what if I FM this?’ is almost always: Pretty awesome :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep

Slightly off-topic, but do I remember correctly that you have a Syntakt video where you demonstrate the use of the Trig modifiers? I’ve been meaning to delve into them properly, but I’ve been too lazy… A video would certainly help

Yes! It’s this one: https://youtu.be/graY4DRU5mc at 4:56 I’m setting up the velocity mod for the SY Tone percussion stuff

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it

I wanted to share a live performance I recorded entirely on the Elektron Syntakt.
The Octatrack is used off-screen for subtle effects in certain sections, but all sounds come from the Syntakt itself.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the textures and workflow!

New Syntakt video! Going for the illusive ‘hypnotic’ techno vibe on this one. Bit longer as well because I’m spending more time on more sounds :stuck_out_tongue:

But feel free to skip to the end to hear the final result as always

Someone asked about some Donkey Rhubarb style sounds on the Syntakt (you know, those detuned almost prepared piano kind of sounds) so I tried to get in the ballpark a bit by layering SY Bits and SY Toy and then took a left turn. :stuck_out_tongue:

Definitely had a bit of fun though.
