I use the Octa with an external synth, and i like to put some trigger locks on a specific step to control the CC correspondent to the synth’s filter. I would for instance, open the filter only in a specific step, so only this note will play with the filter open. It works very well.
BUT my question : is there a way to temporary cancel this parameter lock, when i’m using an Octa’s knob to control the same filter, for instance ?
You could use a conditional trig with the negative fill condition set. So it wouldn’t play when you hit the fill button… hit that button when you want the trig to be ‘temporarily cancelled’
