Tempo sync issue with this setup:

So I have the following midi setup:
Torso T-1 out > DT in
DT out > DN in
DN out > Typhon in

Audio path is:
Typhon out > DN in
DN out > DT in
DT out > M-Track8 sound card

Ableton is:
1 midi track with DT plugin
1 midi track with DN plugin
plus all the individual audio tracks for the DN, Typhon and DT

The transport from the Torso starts / stops DT, DN & Typhon
Master tempo is set at the Torso

This all works tremendously well in or out of the box.
The only issue I’m having is, Ableton doesn’t respond to the tempo from the Torso T-1, it’s not sync’d. Whilst in Ableton, if I change the tempo on the Torso, DN, DT & TY all respond and stay perfectly in sync but there’s no tempo change in either Ableton or the DT & DN windows.
Ableton (with EXT engaged) doesn’t respond to the Torso transport either.
Hope that makes sense, its completely done my head in.
Cheers

Ok solved. Completely forgot the Torso T-1 can sync with Ableton Link. Works like a charm.

Actually not solved.
The T-1 transport wont start the Typhon sequencer running when I have Ableton open but the DN and DT start fine. No idea what I’m doing wrong… Both DT & DN have send / receive clock enabled. Typhon is set to Master Clock > Receive > External
Without Ableton open, all 3 devices are sync’d to the T-1 transport perfectly. Fire up Ableton and the Typhon stops responding. Baffling.

Abandoned all plans for multi-track recording via Overbridge in favour of a good old stereo master from the live jam. Done.
