It was already possible to randomize each grain detune or by fifth/octaves and tune by octaves.
Now with semitones/cents, plus modulation based on pitch bend, +/- 12 semitones. Random scale possible using step lfo x random lfo.

Depends on use. Really interesting if you record something with Tempera an want to adjust cells.
Not sure about possibilities yet, +/- 50% of cell start nudge possibleā¦if I understood correctly.
If you already prepared your samples you may not need it. I like to prepare my samples with slices and modulate with REL Y. Up to 100 slices testedā¦
Would you be so kind to explain how you slice your samples? 100 is quite a lot - sounds interesting.
With an audio editor such Samplitude. I use a quantized grid based on max Tempera length, 524 288 samples (around 11s).
It was ambitious but kinda work for me ! Used attack sound on one emitter and a diffused granular tail on another emitterā¦
I use Keytrack assigned to REL Y to play slices.
Same 100 slices sample randomized, just single sound without granular tail.

I also have accessibility issues 
I have seen very impressive rytm/voices demoes that convinced me to invest on this beauty.
Now i must admit the UX isā¦ very puzzling.
I look at video tutorials but explanations for most basic stuff dont look at all onscreen like my current machine with last OS
The default settings sound like way too many swarms of stuff in reverbā¦. I want to get more basic stuff
I am quite disappointed but will insist a little more before giving up
I am VERY confortable with the octatrack i had since day one for ex, but is there any recent complete video tutorial for the tempera that could help with at least basic stuff ?
Sorry if it has been already asked but i am too lazy to browse the 600+ posts

Not really. Have you loaded EMPTY Canvas in System folder ?
Did you read the manual ?
I learned Tempera with a few samples like 1 bar loops, a constant synth note, loaded them in Empty Canvas.
@Ghostwood if you donāt answer of course it will be complicated. If you canāt understand without a video forget Tempera. No video will explain all possibilities.
As I said you can load a 1 bar loop in Empty Canvas and start from that. Donāt hesitate to ask here.
I can eventually make a video from scratch one of these daysā¦

What is the point of your app ?

It did start off, as you know, as just a visualiser but I thought Iād expand upon it. It provides a way of sequencing emitter patterns or just generating emitters and transforming them on the fly. With held notes that can give predictable audio playback or something more transformative.
I think the real point is can you use it to come up with sounds you wouldnāt have created otherwise, as a generative sound tool. Itās something that needs to be experimented with to see what you can get out of it I guess, a way of approaching things from a different angle.

I did reply but through my mailbox thinking itād end up hereā¦ just to say I did read most of the manual, but some of itdidnt stuck ans every intuitive attempts (creating/accessing my sounds, navigating i nthe architecture, de-messing things) have been very frustrating at each attempt because pbbly Iām not āCautiousā and ārigorousā in the learning process and act wildly, like most my other machines, and those for which its not obviousā¦ have a video tutorial from scratchā¦ maybe it exists already āfrom scratchā for last OS, but those i find are not looking like what i see on mineā¦ anyway, yep will give another try with dedication and patience, starting slow and not crazy and like u say and in the manualā¦ but maybe you re right it may not be for me
