I have had zero interest in buying this thing, and also the bright rainbow lights make me nauseous. But that velvet underground stretch video is making me very seriously consider buying one of these! it was breathtaking.

Many ways to use Tempera !
Rythmical slicing, granular, wavetable, poly sample player with velocity layers, fx box, Tetris, Snake, Space Invadersā¦
You can dim them and choose colors, hue. I can use it with low light environment without nausea !

is there a way to record/loop/sequence/whatever the little square slices you are pressing, or only in real time as you play them?
You can record what you play with an external sequencer.
I have to try it !
There is a 16 steps lfo but you canāt see values yet. 10 modulations matrix.

1 sample, 11s, 64 slices !
Keytracking assigned to slices.
Samples are limited to 11s for now.
So I wanted to do some trickeryā¦
1 emitter plays the attack of each slice
1 emitter plays the tail of each slice in a granular loop.
I planned to use between 3/6 samples for velocity levels.

If Iām understanding you correctly, I found you can do this with Mikron Cascade. I donāt have any examples unfortunately, but you 112.db offer a nice long trial

Touch grid polyphonic pressure detection!!!
Each cell is continuously detecting how much finger pressure is applied to it, and this can be used as a modulation source to any of the modulatable parameters. This new modulation source is aptly named Poly AT and is currently only enabled on the overlay keyboard 
cells. At the moment, the maximum concurrent aftertouch polyphony is 5, this will probably be increased to 10 after an initial testing period, along with receiving PolyAT MIDI from external controllers and PolyAT on emitters :Emitters:
