The 1rst track (column) is in live grain mode (red cell)
Bro wtf … they should hire you just for this bid, unreal work.
Damn. I had managed to forget it.
Awesome video, you rule!
Apparently. There is always some jitter with midi clock.
It is also possible to trigger the 4 Emitters with notes on their own channel.
Yes. Efficient but there are some limits if you want to avoid artifacts. Not too much frain desnsity, spread…
Nope. Just a red emitter.
The sample is an Hydrasynth wavescrolling.
Hahaha ! My Bad ^^
Andre advices for live grains :
The key to not have artifacts with rhythmic live grains is this:
- your master BPM should match the BPM of the loops being sent in (if you sync clock with MIDI that does it)
- the live grains track should be in BPM mode and have its BPM set to the same BPM (or double, or half, for lolz)
- in <:Tracks:1213121087605571614> → Edit → Trim, the top brackets indicate the cell boundaries, while the bottom brackets indicate BPM quarter note boundaries. The easiest way to sync up is to have the top and bottom brackets in 1:1 sizes. (it doesn’t have to be exactly pixel perfect, Tempera will round up and snap for you)
- optional/recommended: the playing emitter should have Rel Y Snap = on, but this is not always super necessary
As suggested on the web I made a Tempera canvas adding an egg.
(Tempera is also a painting technique where eggs can be used)
Now we’re cooking ! Tempera is definetely hot !
(Repetition for Discord users sorry)
On demand I made a template for this. Don’t hesitate to download it.
Gonna be a great success I’m sure…
These 2 videos seem to be the most interesting as to what is the Tempera capable of for a novice like me.
made my order cant wait
Going from the OT master to Tempera master, sensai
Nice little vesa stand, good angles.

@sezare56 Seeing as you are the sampler grandmaster could you maybe try if this specific thing is possible on the Tempera.
- Smearing one hits - ive always wanted to stretch out drum samples having the transient hit and then let the rest of sample stretch out or smear, the mental image i have is like making a rubber band beat, either using a loop and having it stretch and pull or doing the same with several one shots.
i haven’t really seen anyone do this in Software or hardware and it would be cool to see if there actually is a sampler out there that is capable of doing this.
Couple of new betas since I last looked (Great Dev!)- this is a nice update:
New feature : Emitter copy-pasting and built-in prefabs – allows for simple copy pasting of emitter parameters from one to another, and also contains a few basic emitter configurations (Pad, Rhythm, Scatter). These are very straighforward and provide clean non opinionated starting points to quickly set up an emitter. If you think these are wrong or there should be more please tell. Ideally we’d want to get away with not doing a whole saving separate emitter configs to persistent storage, I hope we can tweak these prefabs to be as useful as possible! You’ll find it at the bottom of emitter parameter list
Bit OT but for smearing a sample have you tried this: GrainSpace - Granular Reverb Plugin (AAX, AU, CLAP, VST2, VST3)
@MichaalHell funnily I was try this with a loop at slow tempo.
You can add an lfo to emitters position. So if I understood well your question I’d say yes.
Kind of timestrech with more settings.
