[Update] I hooked up the Orchid to my computer and ran a Midi monitoring app. Turns out for every note, Orchid is sending 2 Midi Note On events, then 3 Note Off events per note in the chord. I’m sure this is the cause of the issue. I’ve reported it to Telepathic, hopefully they’ll address the issue, would be great to use the Orchid to teach DNII some nicely spread chords.

Anyone using the Orchid to send chords to a Digitone II’s chord memory feature with any success? I can’t get it to work at all.
I have the two connected via a Midi DIN cable and the DNII will play chords output from the Orchid but the DNII does not recognize the chord note data when inside the chord memory screen, even though the chord is still audibly played.
If I hook up other midi keyboards (eg: OPXY) then the chord memory works fine.
(side note: if I keep re-pressing the chord on Orchid, I can see the DNII screen that appears after you start to input notes (a keyboard with the visual notes on a piano roll) but it quickly flicks back to the ‘waiting for notes’ blinking menu. This doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen when I keep repeatedly pressing a chord.)
