Somebody made a Max for Live version of the Orchid and I remember downloading it and liking it.

But now I can’t find it in my M4L junk drawer. Does anyone remember the name?

Can anyone chime in on how long it took to ship after ordering?

I managed to get a pre-order on the latest drop.

Is this thing any good?

That video was :ok_hand::ok_hand::ok_hand:

Incredible marketing, 10/10.

I’m not in love with it as a product though, even if it is nicely designed. It’s not as useful as expressive chords as you still have to find your own progressions which is half the battle.

The NDLR seems a whole lot more useful as a music making device to me, there’s something vaguely silly about using a single octave keybed to input the chords.

The fact that you can’t play the keybed polyphonically (i.e. just use it as a regular keyboard) also seems very strange - this might have been updated though.

I think it’s very apt for them to call it an idea machine, as an ideas machine and a sample fodder machine it fits very nicely in my setup
I really see it like a device were the keys are just buttons
