Hey everyone!
I´m wondering how good is the OP1 with external synths? In the best case I want to sequence the evolver Keyboard with the OP and then record the Audio into it. Just don´t want to carry the big keys to a gig. What would you say does the OP this well? Or would you recommend another Piece of gear?
Should be fine. No din midi on op-1 so will need midi host box/computer. Unless the evolver has usb midi, I’m not familiar with it…
Not much memory on the Op1 so will depend what you’re planning to sample in to it and how you want to use those samples live?
No timestrech so it’s not the best thing for pitching a sample across the keys if that’s the kind of thing you want to do and you need a wide octave range. You can ‘kind of’ multisample in drum mode. But in a very limited way.
Edit - also, dunno if evolver is stereo or mono, but op-1 only samples in mono.
