Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II

my local stores dont seem to have them available for pick up today, we shall see if patchwerks comes through

Even more disappointment…

At least they should drop some improvement to EP-133…

This isn’t an upgraded KO II, it’s the 2nd device in the EP series. Now, as much as I love the product and price (own two KO IIs), and get that these are super pocket operators, segmenting features seems to be the name of the game here, the arp, different punch in FX, more RAM for sounds, but less user sample RAM and a, uh, less mass appeal aesthetic so you buy the EP-133 too. If this was a straight up Super Tonic it would be a lot easier to justify.

WILL IT BE ADDED TO THE EP-133? @te-david?

One of the demo tracks sounds just like Blawan!

The medieval quilt bag looks great!

TE is without equal. Most electronic companies aim to make their costumers happy. TE aims to…not. Want a software update? Here’s a medieval f*ck off! Enjoy the cocoa!

Yes I imagine you can get some great Blawan sounds out of this thing! Great connection

My theory is that someone came up with this awesome LCD display and they said it had to be used in a product. Thus the 1320

OK, just listened to some YT videos. Sounds are not my favs, for sure. I guess, that’s OK for native Nordic people, no doubt. Good new FX, ensemble, and dimension. Also, arpeggiator, cool for some effects. And that’s it…

Chocolate smelling buttons??? Weird… And poopy color is much worse than orange. At least for my taste.

kinda sounds like the chorus effect on the 133, at least functionally thats how i use it. i guess the ensemble is the chorus tho right

i feel like these are similar enough that most or all firmware updates will be for both…. hopefully.

So happy the EP-1320 is not for me!

If was something to do with Microtonic or Rick & Morty, I’d be in trouble.

I hope it has a nice fugle horn multisample

Just FYI the sound pack for Castle Crashers is pretty easy to find online

Soooo… EP-133’s 64mb RAM vs. EP-1320’s 32mb RAM? In case you don’t need/like/use medieval sounds, EP-133 is twice beneficiary, right? :face_with_monocle:
