I don’t understand, loading samples via c6 is fine for me. It’s not that difficult.

I prefer to record samples live from a player in my Rytm

No computer… and enough possibilities to edit the sample to use it for more possibilities than just for layering.

Yes C6 is boring, but does it matter?

Yes!

No plans for that at the moment.

I wonder if these sequencer enhancements include M-185 style sequencing? Per step clock divider and repeats would be great! Similar to the Faderfox SC4 and the Intellijel Metropolis.

i am not talking about difficulty , i am talking about speed transfer obviously.

Oh dear, that would be something!

Can you not get there with p-locking retrigs?

You may be right. Still I sometimes wish I could plock retrig time and nb as easily as on the Mono, on the fly.

Sorry, I don’t follow, I’m new to the A4 sequencer. If you don’t mind elaborating…Can I set a particular step to hold for 3 counts (or any number, 1-8 usually) but trigger 2 times during that hold? Or, set it for 8 counts but trigger 3 times, etc? Thanks for any advice and sorry for the possible 101 question.

Something that could be very useful is to give the USB port a “host” mode, to connect any of the various USB MIDI controllers available. This opens up great possibilities.

Sorry if this was asked before. Will we now be able to sequence external gear with the AR?

this is possible to a degree with the retrig function. check the manual. with retrig, you can set a trig to play a burst of trigs with a definable lenght and rhythmic interval, for ex. a retrig of 64th notes lasting four steps, a retrig of 12th notes lasting six steps, and so on…

Nope

Some slight confusing arising here i think from David asking about the A4 sequencer, not the RYTM.
Retrig is a function of the RYTM only unfortunately.

Retrig matter is for AR
For A4, one can use a LFO or the Arp to fake retrig

@dcsux oops I hadn’t seen your post.

I hope we’re going to see a new version before Christmas…
Its been a while but i understand software development can be very complex, thats what i do for a living

Thanks so much for all your help! I’ve got a lot to learn about my A4.

Same here :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I understand, but that “within two weeks” comment set my expectations way high and I’ve been refreshing these pages daily ;(
Soooooooooooooooo impatient and excited!
