I just ordered their new(ish) System 10.

I’ve had the burning desire to go modular for several years, but I could never quite figure out the best angle for me to get in. I wanted something that could stand on its own as a small, portable instrument as well as integrate into my existing analog setup (namely my Moog Voyager).
After spending way too many hours putting together small dream systems on Modular Grid, I decided to start with the Pittsburgh System 10. It looks like a pretty good value for the price ($650) and should fit my needs perfectly. Cost was certainly a factor that kept me away from modular for years; just getting a case and some bare essential modules always seemed to add up to $1000+ very quickly, and I’d talk myself out of it and buy something else instead.
While the System 10 isn’t the most awe-inspiring thing out there in terms of modular, I’ve come to realize that this thing is going to be a force to be reckoned with when it meets my Voyager. I’ve got the Vx-351 and Multi Pedal, so on top of what patch routings are already available on the System 10, I have Envelopes, LFOs, Noise, S&H, Pressure, Aftertouch, and all kinds of C/V to spare.
The thing hasn’t even shipped yet and I’ve got about two dozen patch ideas, and in true Eurorack fashion, additional oscillator and filter modules tempting me.
There’s really no turning back now, is there?
