Hey folks when sitting on the computer working on the daw the analog 4 is too tall and to flat to edit on the go.
Has anyone had any luck using something like a book holder to tilt it at an angle?
There are lots of angled stands specifically made for Elektrons.
PS- might bet a better response in the A4 forum…
i made wooden angled end cheeks, but the plastic ikea laptop holder is perfect and super-cheap

They have cut holes that line up with the ventilation slots on the newer analog machines, so they work with all of the Elektron desktop boxes. Very slick. I’m loving mine - well worth the price.

I think CremaCaffe’s Spike works with the A4. It’s quite un-expensive and looks really cool

I’ve been using this portable tablet stand. It works remarkable well for this use.
The ‘brightside’ stand looks ideal - as I read in a review somewhere ‘it’s amazing this hasn’t been produced before’ - two angles of operation bam!

Me too, got the same one for my Blofeld module.
Another Ikea Brada user here for A4 and AR. It’s black, angled perfectly, has a rubber strip on the bottom so doesn’t slide when banging on the AR pads. Can’t beat the price. I’d prefer it were solid black uniform surface instead of the little bubble design pattern, but it’s certainly not a deal breaker. In a darkened studio with a machine on top of it, it’s not even noticeable.
I put a couple of hockey pucks under the top corners. Problem solved.
