Anyone using a Sysex librarian for iPad? If so, which one?
Looking for one that is sure to work for MonoMachine sends and receives with the camera connection kit hooked up to a midi interface.

Been borrowing a friend’s MonoMachine non +Drive. The lithium battery is dead, and I use my iPad far more than my computer, so it would be handy to be able to use the iPad for Sysex needs.
Also, thinking toward the future, it would be good to have all that data on the road, in a cloud, to be transmitted via iPad, and not have to take my computer with.

It’s a solder tab CR type battery.
I can take the thing apart but my hands are too shaky with a soldering iron.
It will get replaced, though. Probably install a small terminal for easier replacement in the future.
But the experience did make me want a simple mobile solution for sysex dumps, and also that I would much prefer the +Drive model.

Yep very good idea… so I had a search and I found this >

Maybe it works a treat - sorry I have no idea.
I wasn’t sure about paying for it as I already have way too many iPad apps that I rarely use anymore. I would consider getting it if anyone goes for it and reports back that it could replace C6?

I’m very interested as well!

Something like C6 for the iPad, collect samples on the iPad, quickly dump a bunch to the Rytm.

Let’s see if someone knows an app for that purpose, I didn’t find one yet.

Void, are you reading this?

I use an app called MIDI Tool Box. It has lots of useful MIDI trouble shooting functionality and a sysex librarian is included as well. I never tried it with any of my Elektron boxes though. Don’t know if it works with the camera kit, but it definitely works with iRig.

Hi! I’ve just released Sysex Base, which is another sysex manager app for iPad and iPhone. It will record and transmit sysex files to do backups for your synths! There’s more info on it here: https://coffeeshopped.com/sysex-base

Not to hijack but I have a Roland D-50 coming in soon, so hopefully I’ll get some use out of this. Thanks

I will check this out.
Thanks!
