Sysex fuckery

Hey guys

I had problem with the sysex transfer thing, but then i sat the ticks to 14 and it worked out. I was transfering the 1.32b update.

But now i’m having problems transferring the sound packs ?

I’ve tried different tick numbers, but I doesn’t work out.

Same error, everytime.

upgrade failed, switch power off and try again

Which interface do you use? I had an issue with a fully functional MIDI interface that failed to transfer SysEx data properly. Then I bought the TM-1 and the problem was sorted out… Some interfaces just have some trouble with the MnM and there is no solution.

just in case you dont have the plus drive MM you may not be able to send sound packs

i have a TC twin Impact.

I find it very random that I can update the firmware, but I cant transfer the sound pack. And yes, i have a mk2 +drive.

Nothing I tried in C6 with my E-MU 2x2 would work when updating 1.32B. The trick for me was not to use C6 and find a different SysEx program. (I ended up using MIDI-OX)

I don’t have a lot of respect for Elektron’s C6.exe

ps - I’ve loaned my TM-1 and MD UW to a friend, he’s not answering email anymore…
