generally speaking, if Turbo is Off, it means you haven’t negotiated a good simple hook up with the AR/F/K
.
if you have everything as it should, then starting C6 after the AR is on and cabled up should result in it selecting AR by default with the Turbo appearing on - now, this may be a red herring in the USB transfer stakes, but if I was transferring data I would (and do) leave this be … Turbo=On, it certainly isn’t a hindrance and may just be beneficial - don’t see any need to disable that one myself !
.
if you have multiple devices attached, then do check in config page that correct one is chosen
.
Turbo midi allows 10x faster connections between compatible devices
.
.
edit: it quite clearly states elsewhere in comments from Elektron employees that Turbo ought to be on with USB !
Not really, but my experience is that C6 should boot up and actively show Turbo on - then don’t touch it ! Toggling leads to issues imho
If it doesn’t boot up with Turbo on then it perhaps is a system /os/pc thing -on OSX it’s been steady as a rock for me from day one, so I don’t have much in the way of de-bugging experience !
