Had eye on Deluge for a while. Clever box with a lot of potential angles but I wonder how much the screen would bug me when browsing for samples etc

Given that the Deluge is quite able with samples, itās gonna be a close call.
Clever design. Kinda like a physical buttons version of the piano roll view on MPC live.
I hate the idea of browsing samples on the Deluge screen but apart from that for me the Deluge kills DTā¦ And itās this guyās flagship āhey world, look at this!ā piece of gear. Heāll throw everything he can in it and as soon as possible. Elektron have a million other things to consider/focus on beside DT. Iām sure itāll get updates, but seeing as it is their ābudgetā box, I wouldnt expect it to become ātooā advanced/feature richā¦ So if grabbing DT Iād get it based on whatās there atm, tho āsomeā updates are inevitable.

I hear you. Iām in the other camp there. I love the no screen thing. Loved the Circuit for it, loving the Deluge for it. Itās the old school pianist in me talking. That guy just never shuts up.
Honestly, from what Iām hearing and seeing and reading about it, it really ticks every single goddam box Iāve ever drafted.
What Iām thinking is that the Digitakt might just have loads of character, and thatās just priceless.
But youāl never know from vids or soundcloud demos.
