Yes I was looking at the S1, Edge, Crave or the Behringer Minis before finding this thread.
Sometimes you can find really cheap bass station 2’s or korg monologues and those are both really good drum synths.
I don’t have an iPad but I’m sure some of these run on iOS. I will look into this thank you!
I was looking into them but they are a little too big for me right now.
I was also looking into the Waldorf Rocket cause of it’s construction and form factor but can’t find demos of people making drum sounds out of it.
well they work on a web browser, so even a pc lying around should work!
Oh wow I read the thread title and didn’t read your comment. That’s awesome actually.
I haven’t seen the Behringer BDS-3 module mentioned here - it’s their version of Simmons drums in module form. (They first called it the SDS-3, which was daft.) One for children of the '80s!
Looks interesting. Can’t find it anywhere used.
What about the Syncussion? Anyone ever tried it?
Sadly don’t have an iPad, looks right upy alley…
You could even just sample YouTube ‘no talking’ videos of people demoing drum machines…
