thank you! i wont have access to my syntakt for the next two weeks,
but for the dfam-ish part, roughly:
lower octave (setup)
waveform = square (the waveform that kicks butt)
detune = 0
filter = quick lowpass
lfo 1 = pitch envelope (destination = tune, so it kicks 
)
lfo 2 = pseudo ringmod (destination = tune as well), amount set to zero
now you can fill the pattern with steps
plocks:
high noise level = snare
high osc level = bassdrum
lfo 2 amount = ringmod bass
velocity = “level” (or accent)
etc.
