Great jams over here! Apologies if this is not the correct post: Are there any extra tools you’d recommend for live performance with the Syntakt alone?
I’ve had my Syntakt for about two months now, and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve decided to challenge myself in 2025 by focusing on a single instrument, and I believe the Syntakt is the one. I’m planning to do some live performances with it and wonder if I might need extra support, like compression, effects for transitions, etc.
I’m currently debating between getting an Octatrack (perhaps overkill and quite expensive), an SP-404 MK2, or just keeping it simple and going 100% Syntakt.
Anyone in the same situation? Thanks!

My first minutes with Syntakt: Pretty much raw Syntakt + some minor EQ on the DAW. I will try to make a track out of it.

I love my Syntakt!
I just got this ready before cooking dinner and recorded it after. It’s not incredibly complex, but being able to get into this territory in no time is one of my favorite things about it.

I run mine through a Mood pedal and like to catch little microloops to mess up or reverb the heck out of all the time. And I’m often sequencing a polysynth with it.
Syntakt plays well with others!
Even so, and as much as I enjoy other synths too, if Syntakt was the only instrument I had I’d be just fine.

Today i’m sharing with you a beautifully crafted video from three audiovisual artists under the collective name “Le Buffet” in Belgium, recording my Syntakt during defrosting hours in a rural field, hope you like the setting and sounds as much as we did making it !
Tracks were created and cared for during an half-year backpacking/camping journey from belgium to morocco, show them some love in the comments if you had a good time

I love those analog oscillators on the Syntakt! In this live performance they’re pushed to the max, featuring both the SY RAW and SY CHIP machines, the former sent through the analog FX Block with Drive cranked up to 11.
After having lots of fun with the Digitone 2, this feels like a nice reminder of why I also love the Syntakt so much.
