Thank you pmags and crtzmo for the help. Yes, I tried the midi cable route first but could not get it to work reliably. I guess I didn’t have the patience for the trial and error adjustment of the settings. The DIN24 route is working rock solid for me now and page 60 of the Metropolix manual solved the 180BPM problem too. Setting the BPM clock division to /6 did the trick. I guess one advantage of using the DIN sync adapter cable is that it frees up the Syntakt’s midi out port for other things. I am using it to establish midi clock sync with a few Chase Bliss pedals. Great to hear! I did get a DIN cable and might use it in the future as you did. I wish I had a deeper understanding of METROPOLIX, especially around external modulations and other ways to evolve a patch mid-performance… Something to work towards!
