Ok so I figured out it’s jumping channels Bc my MIDI wasn’t configured to output to track channels - it was on auto.
Love to know if there is a way to midi control the fx bus and assign multiple parameters from multiple tracks to a single pc4 knob!
Is your Syntakt updated to 1.0.1? CC for FX bus was broken in 1.0.
You can check out my presets for controlling the Syntakt with the PC4 and the pdf that describes configuration in this thread.
The PC4 can only send one CC per knob, if you want to change that, you need to route it through something like the Blokas Midihub.

The Fx bus is channel 13 actually
It seems this trick can be applied to the Digitakt 2 as well 
Yes it can! Which is why it was an instant buy for me, among other reasons
